Settle That is a voting website where visitors can answer debate questions and see aggregated results. This policy explains what information is processed when you use the site.
Voting data
When you cast a vote, the selected answer is sent to our database provider, Supabase, so the aggregate vote totals can be updated. Settle That does not require an account and does not intentionally attach your name or email address to a vote.
Website analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand basic website usage, such as page views, general traffic patterns, device information and referral sources. This helps us improve the site. Vercel may process technical information necessary to provide this service.
Hosting and service providers
The website is hosted by Vercel, and voting data is stored and processed using Supabase. These providers may process technical data, such as IP addresses and request information, as necessary to operate, secure and deliver their services.
Cookies and local storage
Settle That does not currently use its own advertising cookies or require cookies for user accounts. Our service providers may use technologies necessary for security, performance or service operation according to their own policies.
Advertising
Settle That does not currently display third-party advertising. We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to deliver, personalize, and measure ads, subject to applicable consent and privacy requirements, including information about any cookies or consent choices that apply.
Third-party links
The site may link to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the website develops. The current version and its update date will always be shown on this page.
